Welcome to the Denver Science Fiction Association's web site!

DASFA, founded in 1968, is a group of literature oriented science fiction and fantasy fans that has been conducting meetings and fannish events continuously for over 35 years. The group meets on the third Saturday of every month featuring programs of interest to SF fans.  Guests have included SF authors reading works in  progress, the Mars Society, L-5, and many others.

DASFA's regular meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Wild Oats Market in Denver, 1111 South Washington Street.

Two reliable exceptions to this rule are August (the picnic) and December (the Christmas party).

A Dead Dog Party (at a member's house) follows the meeting.  An Alternate Meeting (another party) is held at a member's home the first Saturday of each month.
